Service Description

The primary purpose of the test is to ensure that residual cleaning or etching chemicals have been sufficiently removed by water rinsing. Leftover chemicals (either acidic or alkaline) can negatively affect the adhesion and performance of coatings applied to the concrete surface, leading to premature coating failure.
